The founder and executive chairman of World Economic Forum (WEF), Klaus Schwab on Tuesday said India will soon become a force to reckon with thanks to Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.
In an article published on the website of WEF with title 'India's opportunity in a multi-conceptual world', Schwab wrote 'India's extraordinary achievements - despite its complex federal governance structure and highly pluralistic and diverse society are made possible through the philosophy of 'Together with all, Development for all' (Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas).'
Schwab said that India's transition towards becoming a major influencer in shaping the future of the world has begun and it is only a matter of time before the Asian giant becomes a force to be reckoned with globally.
It is to be noted that the WEF Annual Meeting 2018 is set to host Prime Minister Narendra Modi - the first Prime Minister from India to attend the meeting in the last two decades.
Schwab praised the positive role played by India in Paris climate agreement. He said that India demonstrated its quest to become a major global player through continual efforts to get a permanent seat at the UN Security Council.
The WEF founder also advised Indian administration to work towards improving pollution levels and infrastructure of the country.
'For India to reap the benefits of its reforms process, it is imperative that it addresses these critical challenges at home,' he wrote.
