Lucknow / Patna, May 11-Prestigious Gorakhpur in UP and Pulpur and the Araria Lok Sabha constituencies of Bihar today are vicious voting. Meanwhile, voting for the by-elections in Babu and Jehanabad assembly constituencies in Bihar was peaceful. The widespread withdrawal was made in the wake of the sub-election. Elections to Gorakhpur and Pulpur Lok Sabha constituencies were held following the appointment of Yogi Adityanath and Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh as Keshav Prasad Maurya. The BJP needs to win in both these constituencies. The Bahujan Samaj Party's support for the Samajwadi Party candidate has been suggested to defeat the BJP. In both these constituencies the Congress has faced competition with its own strength. The results will be announced on March 14, with intense interest.
